With its parent company in Basel, Switzerland, the local company based in Auckland has serviced New Zealand for over 40 years. The company has a small but diverse team of 30 dedicated people who have the primary goal of facilitating New Zealanders' access to innovative medicines.

Roche focuses on developing medicines that will help patients live longer, better lives - from early detection and prevention of disease, to diagnosis, treatment and treatment monitoring. The antibiotic Bactrim was introduced to NZ in 1969; since then Roche has supplied over 100 medicines to NZ with a focus on cancer therapies.
