The endobronchial tube is a medical device that aids in the inflation of one lung as indicated for intensive care or for thoracic surgery. The tube comes with a low pressure bronchial and tracheal cuff to avoid the risk of mucosal damage. 

The endobronchial tube is designed such that the bronchial cuff can locate the distal tip after verification from a fibre-optic bronchoscope. The distal tip is slightly curved to assist with the placement while the x-ray opaque carinal hook confirms placement.
