Bi-Level

Bi-Level

Bi-level positive airway pressure is a medical technique that can be used to change inspiratory and expiratory pressures and time nasal and oral pressure ventilation. The bi-level machine has two pressures: when you breathe out and when you breathe in.

The difference in pressure keeps the lungs moving to keep working at their best. At any other time, the bi-level machine changes the pressure based on how much the person is breathing. If a person has a lot of complicated lung problems, the device can have a set respiratory rate for either a timed rate or a backup rate.

USL Medical's bi-level machines and accessories are ideal for all patients. They can be programmed to respond to the patient's breathing or be activated manually. A leakage ventilation adaptor, a leakage circuit, and a tubing system are just a few of the bi-level accessories we offer.
