• Monofilament Fibre pad is made from soft polyester fibres of which there are 18 million of them
• Each ployester fibre is cut a special angle to enable them to reach uneven areas of the skin wound bed
• The fibres lift up debris and bind it within the polyester fibres leaving the area clear adn the promoting of health tissue
• It is important to remove any emollients and topical analgesics from the skin prior to using Debrisoft Pad or Lolly
• Moisten Debrisoft with irrigation fluid e.g. tap water, saline or sterile water
• Use only 20-40mls on the Pad and 5-15mls on the Lolly
• Use either circular movements while applying gentle pressure as if exfoliating the skin or use long sweeping strokes if removing large areas of devitalised skin
• Change the Pad/Lolly once the whole surface area of the Pad/Lolly has been completly utilised
• A new Debrisoft pad should be used for each seperate wound or area of the skin
